The truth of it all

The truth of it all is that I am so inspired by all of you. I read a lot of blogs and so many of the ones that I read are written by amazing women. The majority of the blogs I read are about decorating and decorating on a limited budget. What amazes me most of all is that these women is that they have real lives. Husbands and kids and work and church and babies and homeschooling and cleaning and cooking and they have perfect homes. I have work and church and cooking and cleaning and I feel like I can't get it all done at all. I have an enormous list of projects that I want to get done, but I have to sleep sometime! I don't know if some of you ladies sleep! How do you guys do it all?

I finally figured out what to do with Craft-it-forward. Subscriptions to Better Homes and Gardens! Who doesn't love receiving a pretty magazine in the mail to drool over? Of the three ladies who first signed up for Craft-it-forward, only two of them gave me their snail mail addresses, so Beckie and Nicol are getting a two year subscription to BH&G!

Which brings me to my next idea. I love Cooking Light magazine. I've only recently discovered it because to be honest I've always thought that cooking "light" meant cooking "nasty". This magazine has totally proven me wrong! Since I love it so much, I would love to give one of my readers a one year subscription! Just leave me a comment for a chance to win and if you want to blog about it and leave another comment letting me know that you did and link to your post, you get another chance! I'll leave this open until October 16, 2009 at 12 noon, EST.

Good luck!

Hello! Just had to say I love your home decorating posts, especially with your thrifting finds. Have a great weekend! PS: I do not have a perfect home, but I make sure it looks that way on the internet!
