A little birdie told me....

Folks, it's official; I have a BIRD problem. I LOVE them. I think it started a few years ago. My grandfather was recovering from knee surgery in a rehabilitation center and they had a big aviary with finches right outside his room. From there on out, I wanted finches. J.D. put the kibosh on that and our lives have been bird free.

At least free from living birds. Slowly but surely, little bird things are showing up in every room of my house. There are little birds appliqued on our dish towels, a white porcelain baby bird destined to go in my bathroom and a really pretty bird water color in our dining room. Bring on the flock baby!

I also am really into cloche's right now. I currently don't have one, but that is going to change because I am on the lookout for one. It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.
Here's what I want for Valentine's Day:

A very pretty ring, or

A nest-y necklace

What's a bird to do?

Hi, you don't know me, I just stumbled over here from Nicol's blog.

I am completely opposite in nature to both of you (in your neat, orderly, fabulous design ways) but aspire to being better, and love getting ideas.

Like you, I do have a thing for birds. If I see them in fabric, stationery, whatever, I have a hard time resisting them. And I've seen that necklace on etsy...LOVE it (and the ring too).

Anyway, cute blog. Love the no-sew curtain in your bathroom too! Lots of great ideas!
